These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Destinae, including the Love, Fun, and Life modes (collectively, "Destinae," "we," "us," or "our"). Destinae is operated by Latam News Media Corp, a Florida corporation registered to do business in South Carolina ("Company"). By creating an account or using Destinae in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Destinae.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Destinae. By using Destinae, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide, including your date of birth, is accurate. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to use Destinae, and we will terminate any account we discover belongs to a minor.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during signup and to keep it up to date. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else, use a false identity, or maintain more than one active account without our permission.
Destinae offers a Free tier and paid subscription tiers (Silver, Gold, and Platinum). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe, our third-party payment processor — we never receive or store your full card details ourselves. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage Subscription; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period unless required by law. Switching from monthly to annual billing is prorated based on time remaining in your current period, calculated and charged by Stripe.
You retain ownership of the photos, videos, bio text, and other content you upload to Destinae ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing Destinae's features to you and, where applicable, to other members (such as displaying your profile photos to potential matches). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where copies reasonably persist in routine backups for a limited time.
You may not upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, depicts anyone other than yourself without their consent, or violates our Community Guidelines. All uploaded photos and videos are automatically screened for policy violations using automated content moderation before being made visible to other members.

Destinae provides optional safety features, including photo verification and a date safety check-in that can notify a trusted contact of your plans. These features are provided as a convenience and do not guarantee the identity, intentions, or safety of any member. You are solely responsible for exercising judgment and caution when communicating with or meeting other members, including meeting in public places and telling a friend or family member of your plans. Company is not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your profile, photos, videos, matches, and messages from active use, and cancels any active subscription.
We may retain certain account information and content beyond a deletion request where necessary to comply with applicable law, to evidence our compliance with applicable law, to resolve an outstanding dispute or claim, or for legitimate safety and security purposes — for example, to enforce an account block or investigate a safety report.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, or created risk or legal exposure for Company or other members.
Destinae is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that you will find a compatible match, that any member's profile information is accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Destinae, including damages resulting from your interactions with other members. Company's total liability for any claim relating to Destinae will not exceed the amount you paid Company in the twelve months before the claim arose.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of Destinae after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
